Panasonic AG-DVX100
We also use the Panasonic AG-DVX100. The DVX100 was the first DV camcorder to offer both 30p and 24p shooting capabilities. The "p" stands for progressive scanning, which means that the image is written one complete frame at a time, not interlaced. The 30 and 24 stands for the frames per second rate. Thirty is already familiar to us, but 24? Aah. Twenty-four is the rate at which motion pictures are shot and projected (at least here in the US). So what Panasonic has done is to introduce a DV camcorder capable of recording at 24 frames per second. Why, you might ask? If you shoot video at that frame rate, the resulting image (even when played back at 30fps) will look a lot like film. To many of our clients, that matters.

Sennheiser ew100-ENG Wireless Mic
The quality of the audio on your wedding video is just as important as the moving pictures. Wireless audio systems have long been a double-edged sword. While you can free your camera and creativity from the tyranny of mic cables, you also run the risk of radio interference and other wireless mishaps. In Wedding and Event videography, wireless microphones are essential. For example, hard-wiring the groom's mic to the camera to capture the voew would be close to impossible considering the amount of moving around the groom doew during the ceremony.
The downside of any wireless mic system can be radio interference from other sources, including police radios, construction walkie-talkies and even automated security systems. In this respect, the Sennheiser ew100 system really shines. At first glance, it looks like you only have four channels, which given the crowded UHF band would be less than favorable. However, both the ew100 transmitters and receivers actually have 1,280 channels, the four visible channels are simply presets to which you assign channels. This feature makes the ew100 a powerful tool in the world of Wedding and Event Videography.
